He still gets the messages. It's so he can see how public opinion is going. For each person that calls, they know that there is at least 500 people that feel the same way that didn't call. And. . .you don't even have to be old enough to vote to get your voice/opinion heard. What's it gonna hurt to make the call? It's better than just sitting around bitching that we're gonna lose millions of acres of land, and I don't mean just in California. They're after a lot more than just us.
