Actually in one article, Honda refused to quote any horsepower numbers. The 50 hp was quated by the authors who had dinoed a HRC equipped machine.

Frankly, my 450R is probably nowhere near 50, and it goes way faster than I usually care to go!!! The 06 engine should be enough engine for most folks, even in a mild state of tune.
