Default Rancher lift Kit... Are they worth it?

Hi,

I have a 2006 Rancher 4X4 350ES with the Warn 424. (also with cycle country plow - electric lift and angle kit)

I think the taller machine looks pretty neat. I don't want it way high, just a slight lift would look kinda cool.

Maybe 1-2" Lift...

I don't plan on changing the stock wheels. Does anybody know anything about these lifts, which one is the best and doesn't look all hacked up, would prefer it to be clean looking as possible.

Few questions though -
1. Are they difficult to install and how long does it take?
2. Does it take away from the handling?
3. How much does a 1-2" lift kit cost?

Thank you

lift kits are a double ended sword. Yes, the give you better ground clearance, and yes, you can then put bigger tires on for even more lift. but also, it increases the operating angle of the CV shafts causing them to wear out sooner, and they also raise the center of gravity of the machine and will make it roll easier. It all depends on your comfort level

most kits for a rancher are around 80-100 dollars (US) not too hard to put in, it's basically a block that you put on your lower shock mount.
