Which A-arms?
#13
Yes, I have the Houser A-arms, +2 and +1 forward, on a 250R. Also using Works Triple rate with Resv. Running a Houser steering stem & anti-vibration set up. Would be running a Houser swing arm, but he hadn't developed the stock 88- 89(or 86-87 -1)length yet when I needed a swingarm(I went with Laeger on the swingarm). John Houser is extremely meticulous with anything he does & would only sell first class stuff!! Good Luck

jfboy,
What kind of riding did your friend do? What kind of machine were these shocks on? Also, who rebuilt the shocks?

WV250R,
What finish are you Houser a-arms (powdercoated, chrome top)? What are the advantages to +2, +1 a-arms opposed to just +2? Also, how do you like your Works, and how do they work with your a-arms? Where the a-arms difficult to install? Also, could you please provide any other info you can about the a-arms. Thank you very much.

It all depends on what you want to spend. The more you pay, the better you get. But, those Houser arms look pretty nice. I am going to be running PEP ZPS, Burgard a-arms up front. Remember to widen the rear end when you widen the front end. So that everything is equal. You would be fine without a longer axle, but it would help a lot. The works shocks seem to be a very good shock. I am going with the PEP for the ZPS and the full adjustability. I have nothing bad to say about works. I have seen many quads running these shocks and getting some big air without bottoming. Good luck with whatever you get.
