My 300 is 12.5 inches with the preload on the lightest setting, and no one on the machine.

Works Perfomance has the specs to all their shocks online (here and other links for different guides):

It contains an OAL column that may be of use to you. That should be better than a bunch of us getting out tape measures for mounted shocks.
