I just got a 400ex,and one of my buddies has a cr85 he said he could smoke me in a drag (on dirt). Im bout 6ft 150lbs and hes around 5'10" and 130lbs what do you guys think.

if it has a pipe and you dont have anything u just might lose. But then again u might lose any way... 85s are pretty fast since they are two smokes....

A 400EX should hand a CR85 its ass no problem. My friend has a fresh 80 and against my warrior it was like not even a race he was so far behind. My otherfriends Articcat 400 utility was about even with it just a little faster. I really dont get how people think 80s are so fast.

Ok I got a question, what is a guy 5'10 doing on an 85? Why is he not on an equal size bike? Just curios.

I'm 6'3 at 200lbs and I ride that little green bike in my bio page.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] My buddy is almost the same size and has a RM85 to play on.

I don't know aobut this guy, but we use smaller bike as play bikes, or they're normally called pit bikes. When we are just riding around here close to home, they are a blast to ride and bang bars.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

umm did you race him? You obviously dont know much about power bands and torque...both of which the 80 lacks making it a lot slower then its power to weight ratios would say. Go out and race an 80 then youl find out how sad they are. Just because they a good power to weight ratio doesnt make up for the fact that they make peak power for about 10rpm lol and have no torque whatsoever.
