dull body plastics, renewable gloss?

anyone know if there is any way to return an older atv's "body plastics" back to the "glossy" shine?

..with out buying new body plastics..that is.. lol !!

i'm not talkin about using plexus, polish or waxes...etc...these do well to remove surface debris, but

..more like,.. is there a technique to "buff" plastic back to the 'glass like gloss", like when the quad was new?....

not really, but if you wash it good then spray tire shine, tire foam, wipe that in real good it makes your machine look good and makes it easier to get clean next time DO NOT get any on your seat very slippy

LOL, Roger that on the slippery seat. My friend Steve has done that to me a couple of times, thinks it's real funny.

There are some acetone based plastic polishes, but I have never tried them. On our older bikes we wash them and spray the tire foam everywhere (but the seat), but do NOT wipe it off. Let it bake in the sun and it will bring some luster back, and makes it easy to wash next time.
