I bought a red 2000 450 ES with only 177 miles on it, the title has a august 2000 delivery date. except for a few minor scratches and scuff marks on the plastic it looks brand new, it also has oxlite brushguards on it. I chose a 450 because I'm 6'1 260 pounds i paid $4800 dollars for it and so far it's been perfect, did i spend too much or did i do alright?

I think you did great-even if you had bought a brand new 450es before Jan 1. ($300 bonus bucks promotion) you would have paid $5400.00 (lowest out the door price I have seen). Then you would have had to pay sales tax (if you bought it in your home state anyway) and oxlites are about $50.00. I feel that is a really good deal as long as you got what you wanted (model and color). Congrats and enjoy!
