Consensus of 300EX's top speed in relation to mods

Hey everyone,

I have a slightly bent rear rim, which puts a wobble into my roll.

I have those super grips on the rear, not a pavement tire at all!

But with my set up, we clocked her between 59 and 62 on a flat straight paved road.

Using a PT Cruiser Chase Car :-p

She def has Potential left, Before I put the 14 T front sprocket on,
It felt Like Id run out of gear in 5th, now I dont have enough engine,

I leave her pegged in 5th, and it will pull to a certain rpm and than sit around
60 mph

I have 22" Rear super grips,

Do you think I'd gain a few mph if I fixed my wobbley rim?

what About if i put some holeshot type ties on it?

I need more power to use my new gearing, or less rolling resistance.

I have the airlid off, k&n jet kit, cobra header and pipe

What mods will help without hurting low too much

What are the top speeds and mods of my fellow 300ex'rs here?

What about balancing the tires?

I'm sure it would help to straitn the rim? But, I have to ask man, why do all this. I mean what is the point. Say you get to 65 or hell 75 then what? A pat on the back for doing it on a 300? I understand wanting to go faster and everything but, dropping teeth just for a few mph. Dropping teeth on 22" tires would make that thing suck in trails where they usually exceed. I guess to each his own.

Nah, stock sprocket was too low, too much work on trails, too slow on hill climbs in 1st and 2nd,

Going to 14 corrected the quad really nice, I dont run out of gear in 5th, 1st is still low enough to rock crawl and what not, but not utility low.. as In I can cruise in it a bit more
without winding the engine out... my engine has the power

Why top speed? Why not? I use it..
Espec when I need to get on a road for a bit to go between trails, or On fireroads / gravel roads / pipelines I come accross

Im not looking to be talked down on the subject, just want to see what everyone else is experiancing and any tips they might have

If I cam, P & P , valves, bore etc. Im going to drop teeth on the rear and gear up even more

Rite rite. I not meaning that way at all. Just that I ride wit a guy sometimes that always wants go faster faster faster. He rides flat out everywhere he goes. I feel sorry for that Honda. He's blown it once now its in peices after he flipped the thing end over end. Now he's not having any fun while we are all riding and he's at home. Guess what I'm trying to say is don't abuse your quad or it will abuse you.

Let's see... I have a Pro Circuit headpipe, a Supertrapp muffler, K & N filter and jetkit, airbox lid removed and stock rims and tires. According to my Enduro computer, I've gone 57.7. Im pretty sure if I had more room, I could breach 60mph.

no pipe. no jetting, no lid removal. STOCK.

Only mods Im thinkming is Brakes and suspension!
sometimes going slow is going fast!

Bro, if you need that extra!!! bolt on the blue bottle!
10pound bottle on a 15 jet would Definatly make you smile! ALL day long!

PS. lol my max is 54mph. STOCK

with the proper setup.. maybe 250$. HP increase? how far do you want to go before you blow the engine...

adding the proper amount of fuel and juice. you could probly add on a 25shot. how long will the motor last? who knows...
add on a 10shot and you could probly go all day everyday... but it had better be tuned to perfection.. nitrous backfires between your legs wouldnt be fun at all...
