Tell us what bike you have, that helps alot with the specifics.
A Warn 4-2-4 for my bike, TRX450ES, runs about $275-$325, just shop around. Some online sites will let you have it for as much as $400! My installation in the Foreman 450 could go like this: 1. front end up on blocks, remove tires, skid plate, and cv protectors (ox-lites) 2. pull 3 front differential bolts, and slide the diff as far foward as possible, there's a nice little cut-out in the frame just for this. 3. remove the driveshaft cover; one bolt in the engine and 2 little plastic clips in the frame 4. remove the front drive shaft, mine came out the engine much easier than the differential, but ive done it backwards as well 5. place the warn 424 into place of the driveshaft, finger tighten bolts, check for fit and clearance 6. run electrical for the warn424, mount the toggle switch(thumb switch) on handlebar; read the directions to see where the electric switch connects and realize that you don't need ANY electrical... you should cut a half hour off your installation 7. place the included control cable instead 8. push front diff back into place and finger tighten bolts for diff, again check clearance and fit, read directions again 9. now tighten up all the diff bolts, and warn mounting hardware 10. place drive shaft cover, realize you lost the plastic retainer clips and improvize with tywraps, replace skid plate, oxlite plates, and tires total time a little over 3 hours should have been about 2.5 hours could do it all again in about 2 hours let me know what bike you have, i probably can get you a warn 424 to fit it for about $400 or so..... |

Well you have to take the front shaft out, so the diff has to go foreward or the engine back LOL. I took off the inner fender plastic and the lower black plastic on the front left side to make it easier to see everything. Took a couple hours really taking my time to install.
