je makes a great piston for the 400ex and any other engine! weisco is bottom line and the cheepest, but will do fine for a 400! if you want performance and quality check out cp pistons! there the best ever, and not just my opinion. check the web site!

why do u think wiesco is bottom line ? ive never had any problem with them & they have ran great for me , but i dont keep up on them so i may have missed the boat & may need to try something else next time i rebuild somethin

 

weisco is a great piston. just bottom line. its like...mcdonalds has great burgers, but youll get a better one at a steak house. question was what do i have... i run CP pistons in everything i own!!!! for instance, you can get a complete weisco set ( piston, rings, gaskets, and o rings ) for $89.00! go to CP, you can get custom pistons made just 4 your bike! ceramic coating below the rings, and kevlar top to prevent pre ignition spark damage!! but is gonna be anywhere from $200.00 and more just for the piston. there x forged for stability! they are lightr that any piston. there is just so much to learn about them. besides...you get what u pay for and the piston takes more wear than any other thing in the engine!!

ive never heard of them , but ill check into them , do u have to order them from the company & do u have to run racing fuel , since they r high compression

 

you will have to run 93 octane but hey at the least its still pump gas.
