Oh, I thought you had said something about not wanting to run the stock bumper...

Anyway, I could fabricate a mount plate, too, but for what the KFI plate costs, it isn't worth the time IMHO, plus it's powder coated.

well i was thinking about not using the bumber at all... and say if i didnt use the bumper could the kfi plate still mount right up

I'm not sure... I'd guess it depends on what all gets taken off with the bumper. I ride in tight forested trails, so the bumper gets smacked into things from time to time...
