I am not overly intimate with trans and clutches, but looking at those instructions, idk if I would ever want to do that lol. Maybe its just me, but it seems kind of shady. I never seen instructions like that before.

If I needed a clutch rebuild I might think about it, but I am not willing to tear into a perfectly good clutch just to try something that I am not really sure of.

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. I wouldn't want to risk a good clutch for a thing like that either lol. Does this make sense to anyone else?

when I was younger a long time ago my friend was a total gearhead. we were into streetbikes alot anyway he would do this same clutch mod to well our bikes Im still working on understanding why's but I remember it having profound effects on our bikes . the clutch would come alive like said and instant maybe just 20 yr old speed freeks but seemed to do like it says. he would do alot of crazy things like peanut cans filled with ice and would run the fuel lines thru to cool a 750 gpz turbo drag bike I dont think I would try this personally but like the fact it stirred up grey matter from 20 yrs ago thanks hope the other links were useful... thoughts????

Wow that is something else! I would have never guessed that this was not only a real mod, but a good one too. Guess it shows with just some inginuity and a big gearhead, anything is possible!
