Default 97 Foreman tires

Looking for new tires for my 97 foreman 400. It has 24" on it. Can I go to 25"? If so what difference will it make?

thank you

Yes it can fit 25" easily, can believe it did not come stock with them? Keep the width the same if you worried about rubbing things, but I bet there is room for wider tires as well.

My 450 Foreman had 25" and you could not tell the differance of it when parked next to a 400 Foreman chassis wise.

Even the old Honda 350 Foremans (Fourtrax) from the late 80s had 25" tires stock.

You can easilly go 25" posibly 26" if you wanted. Difference is 1/2 to 1" extra ground clearance, maybe more depending on the design of the tire. I run 27x9 on the front and 27x11 (used to run 12" wide in the rear) on my Foreman 450.

For Tires, the Bear Claw is a great Tire, as well as the Mud Lite. i'm currently running the Mud Lite XTR Radial tire and its my favourite for all round riding by far.
