I liked those tires only thing is I still have stock rims and they are 11" on front and the tires they have are 12". By the time I bought the tires @ $87.each X 2 then I would have to buy rims to mount them on..Name: fusterated.gif

Recons do not have an oil filter. Drain, fill, and go. Just keep an eye on your oil. Check you oil for any metal or water when changing it.

Thanks Voodoo574. I do change it regularly. I have NOT been inspecting the used oil though. I will for now on though. Thanks again for the tip.

I'm pretty sure Recon doesn't have an oil filter.

What ever you decide to come up with let us all know. I'm curious what you decide to try and how it works out for you. Sell the wife and buy the wheels and tires.

IMOK,

Did you buy front tires as well as back? The front tires look a lot wider on yours than they do on my wife's Recon.

I remember seeing a flotation device for ATV's on a web site or forum somewhere. It consisted of two LARGE black rubber bladders that were on two arms that mounted on the front and back rack. They flipped out forward and back and locked in place so the bladders were just below the racks once locked in place. I guess the theory is to keep the ATV floating above the seat level. Problem is they eat up all your rack space when they are folded in for the driving mode. Try googling it and see what happenes.

Default floater

Next time I get near a sitdown paddle boat, I'm gonna measure it to see if I can park my bike in it. then figure out a way to paddle the wheels with the back tire spin. Pretty sure my neighbor has one, now that I think about it
