ideas for a Floation device

Thanks for the comments about the floation device. Although my original idea is pretty close to what voodoo was saying in his last post.I was thinking of a inner tube stuffed under front rack. Nothing much but just to keep the controls from getting waterlogged.
I have other things on my mind now. I bought those wheel spacers and while they DO just what they were designed to do the problem now is thaat the dust cap fits on the rim. With the spacer behind the rim it makes the dust cap useless. After thinking about it though I believe I am going to but a sheet of cork about 1/8 thick.I'll have to cut it to fit the outside face circumference of the spacer and put some ATV paste on the spacer then stick it on and tighten wheel lugs down. Thereby creating a seal to prevent mud and stuff from getting to hub.I think the cork will conform to the back side of the rim.The spacer has a flat surface so I think that will work.
