I'm looking into buying a 87 250R, but i need some help. When i'm reading descriptions about them, a lot of them(not only R's, all quads) say that they've been bored .050,.030,. 025, etc. over. Does this mean they've been bored to a larger cc for power? or does it mean that they have just been bored a tiny tiny tiny bit for the rebuilding of the two stroke engine every few years? what does this mean? i need to know before i purchase the wrong quad. Please help!

.010"-.080" size overbore are commonly done to true the bore or clean up scratches from seisures or piston failure, not for more power. They only amount to a few extra cc's(less than 10).
