99 Foreman 450 ES, no spark, won't shift
 

Hi, I have a 99 Honda Foreman 450 ES. The battery was dead last weekend so I pull started it. I let it idle for a minute and then started to rev the engine fast to try to get it to warm up (20 degrees outside) and it revved and stalled out. Tried to pull start it again and nothing. Began working on it this weekend and tried to check the spark with both a spark tester and by putting the spark plug on the cylinder (new plug, new fully charged battery), no spark. I then tried to shift the unit out of N and the shifter doesn't work either. Any ideas?

check fuse beside batt:rolleyes:

is the battery good
is the regulator putting out a charge - most likely regulator ( has anyone else got one near you, to change over and try)
but check battery first

Does it crank? The kill swich might not be in the run possition.
