2001 Honda Rubicon

A question for early model (2001/02 rubicon owners. The front brake drum has a hole in it to adjust the brakes on this machine. I bought it new and don't ride it that much and have never had the front wheels off until now. to me it seems like that hole should have some sort of plug to keep water and dirt out. the seals need grease to keep water out. has anyone seen this, I can't find the plugs on any microfiche. Thanks in advance

Thanks Papa Hogg Scoot, I was on this web site looking before and did not see these plugs, it through me off because that microfiche is showing the atv has disc brakes, mine has shoes. I bought them and will try them.

There little red plugs. Their all the same for any Honda with front drums, be it Rancher, Foreman as well .
Maybe a Auto store has the rubber hole plugs as well, as long as you know the hole dia.

Front brake drum brake adjuster plugs

FYI , no wonder these plugs were missing, they can be pulled off so easy by a stick or rock on a trail. I put a little silicone on them to keep them in place. I know to keep an eye on them now.
