I want to get a treestand holder and a gun holder for my Rancher. I am leaning toward a Koplin Gun Boot to hold my rifle and don't know about the treestand holder. What do you like?

Go with the "ATV Totum". It's in the Cabelas and Redhead catalogs I believe. It's the best stand carrier on the market.

 

Yeah, go with the gun boot. I got the rubber V-shaped clamp things that u-bolt to the racks, and while they're well made and work ok they will wear bluing off a barrel (I told my son that the shiny spot gave his .308 character but he didn't go for it). It's also better I think if the gun is parallel to the quad, not sticking out to the sides, and protected by a boot. Might not be so noticable to that BATF helicopter snooping around overhead.

 

I use the Kolpin gun boot. I mount it over the right rear fender pointing down into the floorboard area. This way my racks are still usable and it doesn't stick out where the tres will catch it. It does limit body movement on the quad a bit in really technical terrain.
I like the fact that it keeps my gun totally clean and dry, and it clips in and out easily. It goes from the gun closet - to the truck - to the ATV right in the boot. And it is less intimidating to non-hunters that you might pass along the way.
