Hello everyone, I just joined this great forum and have a couple questions for you all.

My Honda Fourtrax 300 has been sitting in the garage for the past few months and the battery has completely died. The starter has also been out on it for years, and when ever I go to use it I have to kick start it, which isn't a big deal to me, it does the job. Anyway, I went out to start it up today just to let it run for a little while, and as I was sitting there I noticed there were a few tiny sparks flashing around the spark plug about every few seconds. Every time it would do this the ATV sounded like it was about to stall but never did. I went ahead and shut it off until I figure out what the problem is. So I ask you all, what may be the problem here, and how may I fix it? I have no clue what the issue may be and I really appreciate anyone's help with this.

It could just be damp on the plug cap. Wipe the cap, HT lead and plug down with a dry cloth and see if this fixes it. If not, you will have to buy a new plug cap, I would fit a new plug too.
