I have a stock 93 300ex. Every time I get the bike on a 45 degree angle the bike sputters and wants to die. A couple of times it has died on me. I'm able to put it on flat ground and it runs fine but if I do a wheelie or ride up a hill it will sputter. It does this if I've been riding for 2min or 2 hours? Anyone have an idea what is wrong?

that happened to me it was the jetting it was geting to much gas with a 128 main i messed around with the jeting and put a 124 in and it ran fine, So it could be your jetting its either geting to much gas or not enough gas i'd go up and see if it helps and then go lower then it was if going higher doesnt work.

300expaul, you have the same pipes as I do on my 300ex. I have the e-series with a larger headpipe. The weird thing is I have been riding for about 1 year with the pipe on and I didn't notice anything wrong with the engine. Now its sputtering. If the jetting is whats wrong why would it just start to happen? I love that E-series pipe..... how do you like yours?

not sure but I THINK you might have a float problem in your carb.

I like my white brothers alot, when i first put it on with the stock 122 jet it had alot of hesitation in trottle, then i jetted it to a 128 in the winter, now i have a 124 in it and it runs great. It could be your float also take it apart and make sure the pin goes all the way though that white float in your carb if it doesnt it might pick up crooked and not get enought gas or might get to much gas.
