Interesting dealer info true or not?
Maybe someone can add to this since we didnt really understand
My buddy brought his 2013 honda rubicon for service, they got talking and dealer told him its highly not reccommended to start and idle/warm up his bike or rev his bike in netruel . Esp when bike is cold! He said something about warming it up in gear has something to do with a bearing being lubricated ,
Anyone know what hes talking about??

Seeing as Honda put a lock-out on the starter so you can only start it in neutral, that bit at least is pony. Everyone fought a bit shy of the old model Hondamatics (400 and Rubicon) as their electronics are complex. However apart from a faulty ecu on early 400s, the Hondamatics have been remarkably reliable, both mechanically and electronically. I have never had one seize an engine bearing.
