4X4 RECON?
Have anybody ever heard if honda will ever make a 4X4 recon? I didn't, but it sure would be nice. Imagine a 450lbs 4X4 that is small like the current one to go in the bush with. And the price would probably be nice too. Add a high and low range to that baby and you could go anywhere

4X4 RECON?
I agree the recon is great how it is. A 4x4 would be alot heavier and would need some major power upgrades to turn all the tires. Also it would have to have a selectable 4x4/4x2 or I think it wouldn't be that good. Tough with a high/low gears it might have enough power but would probably still need a bit more power. The only times I wish mine was a 4x4 is in the spring time we the snow is really soft. I have never got stuck in any holes that I HAD to go through, its only the ones that I go off the trail and play in.

4X4 RECON?
I'm not sure what you mean by "pull off"? 550lbs is heavy for a 250cc. Right now the Recon 2x4 is around 400lbs. depending on the model. The Rancher 350 4x4 is around 500lbs. (100cc more and 50lbs less than the AC 250) -The Rincon 650 is around 600lbs. (400cc more with only 50 more lbs.) Actually the AC 250 4x4 weighs 575lbs. The Suzuki 250 4x4 weighs closer to 550 at 557lbs. (Same motor)

4X4 RECON?
The Beartracker(Timberwolf) was about the same cc's as the Recon and it came in a 4x4. I like the idea as long as Honda keeps it light and has selectable so it would still be somewhat fun to drive in 2x4.
The AC has something like 246cc while the Recon has 229cc. So the AC does have a little more power.
