theres gas in my oil and in air filter. need advice on what to do!!

so i have noticed that it looks like theres gas in the oil tank, now mixed all in with the oil. the oil has lots of small bubbles and is clearly not as thick as it should be.

theres also some gas in the air filter and air box. oil leaks all over my motor and i have no idea where its coming from ever, and i also cant get rid of a ticking sound. it smokes from the header to, alot.

please give me some advice on what to do before my 400ex blows up!!! i tried the float needle theres nothing wrong with it.

its a 2004 400ex.

Welcome to the forums.

I moved this over to the Honda section. Hopefully you get more help over here.

So have you done a complete rebuild on the carb?

First thing is to always drain the contaminated oil and and fresh oil and filter.Make sure the float is ok,not damaged and rebuild the carb.No sense in taking a carb apart without replacing worn parts. Float needles takes a beating along with ethanol fuel that eats them up.Hard to visually inspect these needles. Here's good video on repair.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LrUYaWx_Kq4

Even if the float needle sticks, on a Honda, fuel should run out of the overflow pipe and away, if it is getting into the engine and/or airbox, that overflow pipe must be blocked or lifted up instead of hanging down.
