honda 420 no spray from injector
Help need
I have a 07 420 rancher new battery new fuel pump have 12 volts at the injector plenty fuel pressure but no spray at the injector Help needed |
Seems like a blocked injector. Never had one on a 420, but King Quads regularly need a little filter screen in the inlet cleaning. It is possible the electronics isn't firing the injector when the engine is spinning over, but I would have thought that would bring up an FI fault code on the dash.

I have 2 of these quads swaped injectors no spray
|
I agree i would thinkit would have a fault code but none
|
I'm afraid it is time consuming but I would go for swapping out other EFI components until you find the one that was broken. I would start with the vacuum sensor. Or, if you get a manual, you may find fault tracing procedures and avoid having to do this.

"So ive ordered a pgm-fi unit"
I've no idea what that is, but why not swap the one from the other bike onto it, before spending on a new one? |
I got the new unit in still no spray
Done more tracking down wireing found a brake switch had been jumped allowing it to spin over took jumper out atv wouldnt spinn over any more found a bad nutral switch replaced had spray from injector started rite up Thanks for the help hope this may help some one else |
Carburettor equipped Hondas wouldn't spark "on the button" if the neutral wire wasn't working. Looks like they have transferred this safety device to the EFI system. Did the neutral light work though?
