2005 recon one way bearing on centrifugal clutch

Default 2005 recon one way bearing on centrifugal clutch

I have a 05 recon i bought a new one way bearing that goes in the centrifigal clutch need to know witch way to put it in the ole one had busted into pieces and fell all apart when i to it apart thanks for the help

Fit the assembly loose on the crankshaft. Revolve the crank using the pull start. The clutch drum shouldn't revolve, try to stop it with your hand if it does, if the drum doesn't go round, you have got it the right way. Then, just to make sure, try to spin the clutch drum in the same direction as the crank moved, it should lock up.

So if i am looking at the front of the motor when i pull the pull start everything turns to the right when i put pressure by hand it stops turning to the right but will free spin to the left is this right

Sorry only the drum will stop turning the drum will free spin to the left the clutch a k stays still

Can't use terms left and right on something revolving as top moves one way bottom t'other. Like I wrote above, the drum should lock onto the centre if you try to turn it in the direction the crank rotates when the starter is pulled.
