why wont my 300ex start when i click the button??

Default why wont my 300ex start when i click the button??

hello I need help. I have a 300ex and it will not start whenever you click the button. please tell me how I can fix this.

Have someone hold the start button , with key on , do you have 12 volts on the two solenoid wires ? { Y/G neg & Y/R pos, }

I have already tried to touch the colenoid posts together and they work. It’s just when I click the button it doesn’t work

Check for power on the solenoid coil wires , not the starter wires posts , read post #2 .

Those two wires are what energizes the starter solenoid , use a meter and check for 12 volts on the yellow/ red and yellow / green when you push the start button { with key on } .

So hold the button with the key on and check for voltage on the two wires right??

Hey so I just checked on that and there is no voltage at all. What should I do??
