I am looking to put a pipe on my 300EX. How do DG pipes compare to others like Supertrapp and White Brothers. Is it mainly a matter of preference? What about the DG Krome Power RCM exhaust? Is it a good deal?

Don't buy DG. Its way overrated. It doesn't compare anything to White brothers. Plus I had one on my quadsport and I bottomed the rear shock out and the caliper hit it and dented it.

O.K. Maybe they are overrated. But, why? How are they so much different than the others. For the price, ($150) aren't they decent enough to give me extra power? Also, I do not have much experience with pipes, but could I get a DG head pipe (because of the low price) and put a White Bros. silencer on it, or are the WB head pipes designed for their own silencers? Are they interchangable if the sizes match up on the pipe and silencer? Thanks for the help.

Well I don't think you can get a seperate DG headpipe. I got mine for $99 without a spark arrestor for my quadsport. My DG headpipe that came with a silencer wouldn't fit onto the stock silencer, and the white bros silencer are designed for stock or their headpipe so I don't think that would work. You can get the white bros mega alloy pipe for $150 also.
