Aluminum air box owners, could I please get some help from all you? If at all possible could you give me dimensions (possibly pictures) of your aluminum air boxes. I am considering making one for my self. Thank you so much for reading! I want this experiment to work, I dont have $180 to spend on an air box.

Why not take the dimensions of your stock airbox and just use those to fabricate your aluminum one?

 

I will be in conjuntion of aftermarket ones that have the battery inside already...

I know some of you have them out there. Just go out to the garage etc. and measure it up PLEASE!!! I am really serious about doing this experiment. It will help out fellow riders as I might be selling them. I am getting them all professionally welded in hopes to make the highest quality air box on the market now. All the wires will be included for making the battery re-location. When and IF I do sell these, they will be half the price of all the major brands!

this might be kind of a dumb idea but why not just buy one...then make your own and return the one you baught?

 

sorry jug, I'm not down for that idea. You gotta mess with shipping and all that other bull ish. Just tooo much hassle, and I am only 15 w/o a credit card.
