luckley i was not to far from my house when this happened... http://www.geocities.com/rubiconland...t/gearcase.htm today while riding my rubi around it locked up. well the front gear caseing locked up, and cracked both sides of the front gear casing. what caused this i want know till end of this week. but i think a bearing came apart and jamed the gears. luckley i was only 30 feet into the trail, but due to the front wheels were locked down it took 2+ hours to get it that 30 feet out of the woods and on to a trailer.
me had to pick up the front and pull wiht another atv. not near as eazy as we thought it would be....
Replacing this is going to cost me out the *** , but had got to be done. I was wondering if HL would sale me one of their unlockers for the rubicon so I want haft to replace my front diff. then replace it again when the gearless locker comes out... Come on HighLifter I'm pleading to you Please Please Please.................

oh well.

Put your stock tires back on and take it to the dealer and see if they will cover the front end under manufactures' warranty. Something major like the front end may be covered.

Yes put those stockers back on before you go to your dealer...as soon as they see aftermarket tires they will refuse to fix it for free under warranty.

i never had a set of stock tires. Thoes 27 blackwaters were put on by the dealer cause i traded them for $250 + the factory tires. so i have no stock set. I did take it to the dealer and they said that it would be covered under warrenty due to reports of gear bolts not being torqued down to the prople lb. .......Befor i took it in I always remove my lift kit.........
oh well
