Rancher
#21
Steve,
Can you give me the address and phone # of the dealer near you that had them for 4700? I'm looking at maybe selling my 300 and getting a rancher and that dealer seems to be the cheapest. Most dealers will drop the price if you prove that another dealer has it cheaper. So let me have a number and address this way I can get a rancher at the cheapest price possible.

I wound up my Rancher 4x4 ES in fifth gear and was able to squeez 48 mph out of it on wet grass.I raced a Honda 300 2x4 several times and easily pulled away in the first four gears but fifth gear seemed kind of flat and would not rev out.Either the valves are set loose from the factory or Honda put some kind of rev limiter on it like some of their other machines.Has anybody else tested the top speed of their new Ranchers yet ?

Bzizzi, in the last issue of 4 Wheel ATV Action, they said the front end pushes a little in slippery conditions, mostly due to the tires. Did you experience this at all? Also, they tested the front diff out on it and they said every time the tire in the air would stop turning and the tire on the ground would pull. What's the scoop on the differential? I know you said that it didn't work for you, maybe you should try it again, maybe on a hill or rut or something.
