I just bought a crashed 600R Honda, Will be parting it out and selling parts. Q #1. Did that bike have a ECM (engine, control module) and #2 can i start the eng on the floor, hase coils on it, and how do i wire it, all i want to do it show it starts and runs: for the potential buyer. I can do this with car eng.But never did it with a bike.

r u talkin about a dirt bike engine or street bike engine or 4 wheeler engine or what? if im thinkin strait i dont think dirt bikes or motorcycles have pull start?? may be wrong

I will assume that you are talking about a CBR600 engine. You will have to put the engine back in the frame to start it. It would not be feasible to start it out of the frame because you have to have ALL electrical connections connected for it to run. Even the battery has to be in it. The wires aren't long enough to simply roll the bike beside the engine and connect them. Also, that engine does not have a counterbalancer and run all over your shop floor, if it stayed together due to vibrations. One other note, if you are selling the engine, try putting it on E bay first. That is the most sought after engines with most of the Mini Sprint guys. You might be worth more to some guys than you might think.
