I bent my rear brake rotor, so when i took off the rotor someone decided to step on the brake pedal and push the caliper out further. Now the piston wont go back into the caliper, i figured just bleeding the system would work and pushing the pison back into the caliper, but it doesnt seem to want to budge. any help on what i should do or should i just push on the piston harder? thanks

Make sure your e-brake adjustment screw is all the way loose. Next get a pair of challel locks and push the caliper back into the cylinder. You should not have to bleed the brakes. How bad was it bent?

I suppose i should tell what kind of quad i have, its a 250x with no e-brake. I will try the channel locks. Yeah it was bent pretty good, but i ordered a new one, everyone says to just bend it back, but i dont have the resources, and im not sure that anyone in town would be able to do it either, no sweat off my back anyway... thanks

If the caliper pistons are pushed out too far use a large C-clamp to squeeze them back in. Just be careful not to wreck anything.

I've used a c-clamp, just take it slow, or you could blow out the seals in the caliper
