where to find the best value on a-arms (extended)
#1
I'm looking into getting extended a-arms for my quad or possibly just offset tires to widen the wheel base a bit...(it's for the KXF but help me anyway, guys!!! I do have an R which already has extended wheel base work done to it.) I've shopping around and I see different prices on different makes...not to mention varying prices between distributors/dealers! Anyone think they've found the best combo of price and quality?? They're not cheap either way but every buck counts! How about the cheapest you've seen?? are they good for aggressive trailblazing and occasional MX practice track riding?? I'm not a racer so I don't need top of the line stuff.
By the way, how about offset wheels/tires? is that a good less expensive alternative for
getting an inch or 2 on each side??

The bad thing about the offset rims are if you hit a tree or rock or something. It jerks the handle bars really bad. When i had a set up like that i jammed my wrists a couple times.
Look in the classifieds for a-arms i bought a of +2 laegers for $400 and the only thing wrong with them was the sticker was a little rubbed of on one side. That might be kinda hard for a Tecate though.

In December, I bought some +2+1 a-arms for my R from Brad Herrmann motor sports. They are excellent a-arms and were only $400. He sells them on ebay all the time. Do not know if he makes them for your quad but it's worth calling him. Web site:
