I just heard from my dealer that my first Rincon shipped today and should be delivered next Friday. I hope that this is the machine they have hyped. If It doesn't handle and ride like I expect it will be 2 Rubicons.

what kind of pricing on the rincon did you get
|
My Rincon is suppose to hit the dock sometime this week, I got mine for $7,200 + tax.

I was quoted $7100.00 + Tax in Kentucky

Ostie, I had to stand up and pay the $7,599 to get them. I did get a better deal on the 2003 rubicon $6,200 and the 2003 4X4 es Rancher $4,950. When I placed the order for 2 machines my dealer thought he would be receiving at least 5 machines to start out with. He was really disappointed when he found out he was only receiving 1 in August and 1 in September and I had deposits on both.

swheels, I work for a local oil distributor and sell Honda oil to some of the area dealerships, only one was willing to give me a break on the price of the Rincon. I'm very skeptical that someone walking in off the street would get any discount, the stores don't need to give a discount because the demand is there and they are going to be limited into next year. I was surpised to hear people writing on different forums how their dealers were getting all sorts of Rincons in when the fact is, dealers are being limited to 1 or 2 per month for at least the remainder of this year. I was told that the number of Rincons, per store, is based off of the number of Rubicons they have sold in the past. But, only Honda knows for sure.
