Hello everyone. I have been riding with my buddy recently and he has a trx 300 with 4 wheel drive and i ride a trx 250 with only 2 wheel drive. I have noticed that my machine can do anything that his can so my question is,, is this true or is my machine extrordinary?? Any answerrs would be appreciated

If your 2x4 can do anything his 4x4 can do, he hasn't been punishing that 4x4 enough.
When you get into the DEEP mud or snow, that 4x4 will go places the 2x4 wouldn't dream of going.

I have a 300 2x4 and the only thing that I could beat the 4x4 version in would be turning and in a race. There is no substitute for the things that 4wd brings to the table. Hill crawling for one. Traction is everything, and you can't really use sport performance as a category to compare with these either without defeating the purpose seeing that they are both utility based. As for the older 250 TRX, I could outrun it on my 300 but not by much. I figure it will outrun the 4x4 300. Try backing up a hill on a 2wd and then try it again on a 4wd. That is enough difference to change your views real quick.
