I have a 1500 lb superwinch temporarely mounted on the front of my 99 honda 300 4x4.
I want to mount it under the front plastic but dont know which mounting kits go under the plastic and in front of the bumper. I saw one in Dennis kirk that is 86.95 w/fairlead that I think goes under the plastic because it is for plowing too. In cabelas they have a mounting kit for 59.95 w/fairlead it does not say anything about where it mounts. Can anyone tell me where they got there mounting kit and how much it cost and if it goes under the plastic or not?

I have the mounting kit that superwinch sells. Any where that they sell there winches you can purchase there mounting kit. If I remeber right it was right around $80. It is mounted up under the front fenders and comes out by the rack. If you want to see a pic go to the "Drivetrain, Suspension, and Tires" area, and look at a post I made there called "A.P. Bash Plate and stick guards" there I have a pic of the front of my foreman and you can see how it comes out. This is a 450 not a 300 but the kits I have seen on the 300 are the same ( as far as how they come out the front of bike) Even though the winch is mounted up under the front I can still easily access the free spool ****.
