27" 589's on a 2003 Foreman 450??????
Can you put 27" 589's on with stock suspension? Some places I read 26" is the max and some places say 27" is fine

Not exactly sure, but if you ask this question here then I'm sure someone will know the answer. That board is more for us 4x4 guys, wheras I'm seeing this is more for the sport crowd.

I know 26" 589's fit on a 450 honda, 27" mud bugs do too, so i don't see a problem here.

yes u can put 27 inch 589's on a stock foreman my friend has th3m on his and it looks real good.

I've seen a Foreman 450 (new) at a dealers with 589 27's on it. It looked good. They had the 589's on ITP rims though. The nice thing about the 27's is that they come in a 27x11-12. I think the 27 rear tire is a tiny bit lighter then the 26 rear. (26x12-12) Not by much but at least it's not heavier.

One must also remember to buy lots of wheel bearings if you are going up to bigger tire/wheel combos.
Although the tires look good you may be spending 1 weekend a month changing the bearings. |
