The trx200sx was not designed to be hopped up. This is a excellent bike for tight trails, steep or not. I use it in place of my pretty 400ex when i'm getting in the mud and stump jumpin'. Its in having the top end rebuilt. I'd like to hop it up too but I think it wouldn't help it enough. They have excellent low end and I have had it in tighter places than my old 300ex or my new 400ex. Speed is another story. Don't sell it because they are shooting past the moon in value. I paid 1800 in 1986 for mine, it got stolen. I replaced it last summer used for the same year for 1500.

I bought mine for $2300(canadian dollars) in the fall of 1998.
Why would the price be going up?
I use it for mostly trail riding, and your right it works great in those small trails.
How much do u think i could sell it for if i was going to sell it?

 

i have a 1986 trx 200 sx i ordered a cobra exhaust (1038), moose air filter (open air box) and will be re-jetting my new carb from a 35 to 42 and 98 to 102 all off ebay
