EGV is (I believe) the fine wire type that is supposed to resist oil fouling.
If your motor is jetted correctly, you shouldn't need it. Also get the "R" rated plugs eg. "BR8ES" As opposed to B8ES. The resitor will give electrical protection against damage to modern electronics such as the CDI box. |

oops thats what i mean br8es, anyways, i had the br8es and it was always fouling then i got the b8egv and it hasnt fouled and i just noticed that it is thinner

If its fouling, you are too rich somewhere in your jetting.
Or the compression is too low. I had the same plug in my 330R for 2 summers in a row with no probs. |

Nice thing about the egv with the tiny electrode is if your running too lean sometimes if your lucky the electrode will burn off before you blow your motor up
