Last sunday i was dragracing up some hills and on one of the runs it nuetralized from 3rd to 4th, after that i heard a rattling sound and shut it off. i opened it up and found a broken clutch plate (i think the correct name is a 'friction disc') i replaced it and it stopped the noise today was the first time i rode it since i 'fixed' it and its making that sound again[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img] is there a possibility that it could be a tooth off a gear or something? its running cherry like if theres nothing wrong with it but it makes a loud rattling sound when deccalerating. If it was something in the tranny would it still run? could it be another friction disc so soon?

yea HP comes with a price. but u wouldt know about that cause u have a craptor.

I wish you and da beech rode up north. I would have fun riding with you guys. Your bike is very nice btw. I wonder if da beech has any bikes that can actually turn and jump becides just going straight. I would hate to have to beat him dragging and the trails.

And for an answer, was the disk in pieces when you took it out. Is there a possibility of pieces of it still in your motor that arent getting filtered out?

Could be something else breaking the disks in the motor. You might want to take it apart again to rule out some of the possibilities.

it was in 8 pieces but i was able to put them all back together and nothing was missing

how are you shifting? are you doing a "power shift" where you pull the clutch and slam gears with the throttle wide open?

I was thinking about Lateralus's bike what i said that. I havent seen yours. His looks like a nice all around bike.
