I installed new bearings and belt in unit and now when the unit is in the disengage position the blades are still turning. When placed in the engaged position it will pop out back to disengaged. The rubber brake is gone so now I have metal on metal. (I can fix that)
Why are the blades always engaged? I have the belt routed correctly according to the book. I routed it the wrong way just cause same results

 

I don't know anything about it but when I try to picture it in my mind the first thing that I think of is if you got the right belt or not. Hopefully someone who actually knows what they're talking about can help.
