Sorry ,not ATV related, just had to boast a little, last night my 12 yr old son arrowed his first deer,my stand was only 40 yards away,so I got to see the whole thing. Lost the trail in the dark, picked it up in the morning, and found him 100 yards up the hill !! A belt sander couldn't wear the big grin off my boy's face when we walked up to his buck! It was a 3 pt,missing one antler on the left, but no less of a prize for my bow hunter !!

Congrats to you and your son. I've been hunting since I was 13 or 14 years old (now 40), I've taken my share of deer that I was proud of. However the greatest moment I ever had hunting was being with my son when he dropped his first buck. WOW!! what a great feeling. Nothing can make a dad more proud. Congrats again, and continue to spend the days in the woods with your son. You'll never regret it.Text

Congratulations on your son's buck! And to you for taking him along and getting him to that point.
Unfortunately, my girls are not interested in hunting, so my "proud dad" moments have to come from other endevours.
Hope you got a picture of that big smile.

95wolv.......Congrats. on the deer....you gotta be one proud dad. I have an eight year old girl and a 17 month old girl and dont you all worry...I will have both of them in the woods enjoy the great outdoors. I am not trying to force them into anything but I want both of them to enjoy and respect nature for what it is.

Just ordered by Polaris 600 Twin today so my outdoor adventures will be even better from now on....ride on

Thats awesome. I didn't start hunting until I was 18. I hunt with a bow 99.9% of the time. I got an 8 point third day into my 1st season. I can't wait to have a kid and have that 1st kill experience all over again. I wish my dad would have hunted. Oh-well new found addictions are always good.
