Hello everyone,
Just got back from a day ride and thought I'd check the site out,
I currently ride a 2004 Sportsman 500 6x6 which is a great machine. looking for any tips or tricks that people know about for these things, especially for gaining ground clearance.

Welcome to the forum. I'm not sure that there is a way to lift the 6x6 simply because the 25 inch tires are so close together on the rear. If you could fit another inch larger tire you would need an inch between the two rear tires on each side. I'm glad they came out with the IRS 800 6x6. At least it has more clearance than the swing arms. Then again, with 6 wheels locked together I can't imagine you get stuck much.
