I recently bought a 2005 Artic Cat 400 4x4 auto, I started installing a mounting kit and Swisher blade, the mounting kit was to short so I decided to wait a weekend and add an extension, I went to ride and now my 4x4 doesn't engage, you can hear the actuator and it says it is in 4x4 but not, the only thing different on the machine is the brackets on the a-arms that holds the install kit, they are close to the hubs but not touching, could these cause my problem?

welcome! could be your issue. try removing the bracket and test 4x4 to check if that is the cause. did the 4x4 work prior to the bracket being installed?

Thanks for the welcomes,
I went to AC dealer today and told him about my 4x4 issues, he said the actuator must be bad, I'm going to bring it in and have that replaced, ouch $300
