New Member--Old, Old, Ancient Rider!
Greetings!
Let me start out by saying that my first ATV was a Honda 3-Wheeler. Yep, three wheels, just like the tricycle I rode the first time I drove anything with wheels. Only difference was I had to pedal the first one. In the U.S. Government's desire to protect us from our dangerous, foolish selves, congress outlawed the manufacturing of the three wheeler in the 80's and the manufactures strarted building four wheelers. So, enough of the history lessons on how I started and finally ended up on this site.
I'm a native Idahoan and have spent a large share of my life hunting and fishing. The ATV gave me much faster and easier access to those remote places I desired to travel. Now our U.S. Government is doing to our land what it did to the three wheeler. It's getting rid of our right to use our ATV's to travel to the places we've been able to for years. Closing all the cross-country trails and taking away our fun!
Well, you can see that I'm not a big fan of governmental intervention through the statements I just made. Ride as long as you can while you still can. I'm afraid your health isn't what is going to stop you down the road. Just Uncle Sam protecting you from yourself!
