Tao Tao atv won't start
 

Hello I'm Porschia and I'm new to the forum. I just purchased the Tao Tao 125 a couple months ago for my son. I took it out to start it up yesterday and it wouldn't start. Well actually it did for a second then cut off. I assumed it was the battery being dead. I charged it up and went to hook the battery up. I wasn't paying attention and I hooked the battery cables up in reverse. The positive was on the black and it started to spark. Still thought nothing of it. When I went to start the atv nothing happened. So I recharged the battery and tried again with no luck. I think I may have blown a fuse but don't know where to start to check. Can someone give me advice?
