Default Hello from Oregon

New member from Northern Oregon, along the Columbia River.
I do NOT own any ATV yet, looking to buy a good used UTV like Honda Recon to drive to beach and where taking my SUV is not allowed.

I'm interested in 10 years or newer, gently driven Honda/Yamaha would be great. Don't need 4WD, front and rear racks and auto/semi auto are highly desired. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums from Maine. I think you'll be happier with 4x4, of course, the better the traction, the worse it is when you finally get stuck, haha.

Welcome.

Recon 250 is probably not going to keep up on the sand if it's soft. More likely to dig in. Take a lot of extra effort to keep from bogging down.

Thanks for warm welcome.
I think I understand the concern 2wd isn't going to work well. The place I'm going to use is tidal area, get wet twice a day. Also, this area gets rained quite often all through the year. I'll be posting a question in appropriate forum, seeking advice from pros here. Please give me some needed advice. Thanks!
