Default '07 Sportsman 500 EFI not charging

My '07 500 EFI isn't charging. Tried new battery, new stator, cleaning connections...nothing so far has worked. It's cooling fan also stopped coming on and it only starts in L, H, or R, not in Park or Neutral. Has anyone else out there had similar issues at the same time? We use our machines to get a family of four to a remote camp and for logging and would greatly appreciate any help getting back on trail!

Welcome to the forums. More than likely the pdm module located at the front of the machine.Handles charging among several other functions including the fan and hot light. You can check power going into it and see if power is coming out. If not, sounds like the charging part is faulty. Item #11. Polaris ATV Parts 2007 A07MH50AB-AL-AQ-AX-AY-AZ-MN50AF-AN-AT-AY SPORTSMAN 500 EFI ELECTRICAL Diagram Check around on prices on this part plus not a bad idea to at least go through the manual trouble shooting checks. 5 Bucks may help save some money if it happens to be something else or something simple.2007 Polaris Sportsman 500 EFI Service Manual PDF Download Did some nosing around and found a place that can repair this expensive module for 150 bucks if you narrow it down to that. A lot cheaper than paying over 400 bucks for a new one..https://modulemaster.com/rebuilds/sh...bution-module/
